Your business is moving and your AT&T sales rep told you that you can't move your telephone number.  "You are moving to a new CO, and we can't move your number to a different central office."  That sounded great, up until about 1984.  The fact is that there are many good carrier choices that will let you move your number to a new location.  We routinely help our clients move their numbers from one area code area to another as well.  There is no sense in promoting a telephone number for years only to have to change it because you moved.

AT&T will also offer you the remote call forward service for your number as well.  That is great, as long as you are OK with paying for every INCOMING call as well.  We have better options for you that let you be flexible and keep your phone number.
